The translated write up from the ministry web site. The range of SURF ROCKET was designed so you can start surfing and improve without hassle. The general shape of this board gives generous volume and boxy rails that forgive many mistakes and allow a comfortable non twitchy ride and easy take off's. It is also an ideal surfboard for people who can already surf when there isn't much swell.
The board is made with an Epoxy Sandwich Construction uncompromising quality. MINISTRY range of integration with bamboo veneer sandwiched between two polyester fabrics (a 6oz and 4oz on the deck and two 4oz on slides) manufacturing.
My own view on the board:
Personally i found this board very good as a first board and more recently have found it to be good fun on days where there have been less swell. It Padels very easily and is very stable so when you are paddling for waves you don't find yourself worrying so much about being in the perfect position.
When up and riding it holds a rail well so you can stay on the 'green' wave fairly easily. I found turning to be easy as long as your back foot is on the deck pad and it is very regular in the way it turns no surprises.
The board is in very good condition no dings or dents only one slight nic on the tail. It is a chip in the final coat.
Being an epoxy board it is extremely durable and light and floats well. There is absolutely no water damage or sun damage.
It comes with fins, leach, fin key.
Size: Height 6'4" X Width 20 1/2" X Thickness 2 1/2
I am selling because i would like to buy a smaller short board to replace another surfboard for an up and coming trip and this board will be funding the new ones otherwise i would keep it because it as it is a nice board.
Collection would be best however if it needs to be delivered i can try to arrange it at a cost to the buyer. I can put it in a makeshift cardboard box and protect it. However it is at the buyers risk.
Collection from either Box HIll or Croydon
Any questions i can answer through eBay.
