I have a marine VHF transceiver installation which was suffering from a serious common mode voltage problem / high SWR on its antenna's coax feed line. Six of these snap-on ferrites installed close to the antenna feed point reduced the problem from unacceptable to insignificant. In other words, they proved to be a quick, inexpensive and highly effective way to to reduce common mode feed cable current, on a VHF antenna system tuned for around 156MHz.
