What can one say about films that are almost 100 years old? I have only looked at The General so far from this set but that is surprising long. Yes, the quality of the film is showing its age but that all adds to the atmosphere. It is good to know that this film eventually got the credit it deserved, albeit over 30 years late. I wonder if someone has or will do an updated version of this print or even do a completely new version one day? I guess the latter is unlikely since half of the spectacle is knowing that there is no CGI, etc.
