Currier and Ives nostalgia!
All Currier and Ives books are brilliant! Bringing back the nostalgia of America during the Victorian era in Britain, these books are choc a bloc full of wonderful colour pictures originally sold as hand coloured lithographs to almost every 19th century home in America in the time it was becoming populated from immigrants from all over the world, particularly Europe! I own the huge version of this book - it's so massive it's difficult to manhandle it so I just had to order this tiny folio version too, just to more easily peruse the fascinating contents.😄😃😁All Currier and Ives books are brilliant!
