Much like the first volume, Screen 2 offers a surprising diversity, but the upbeat poppy numbers are the songs that inevitably catch my attention—frankly they don't seem like movie themes at but top 40 material. Favs are Dennis Lotis' "She'll Have to Go," Sue Lyon's "Lolita Ya Ya," and Armando Sciascia's "Tiger Twist" (from Tropico Di Notte). While there's much to enjoy on Screen 2, two clunkers do pop up: Juliet Mills & Michael Redgrave's old-fashioned "No My Darling Daughter" and the Corona Kids' goofy "The Big Ship Sails on the Alley-Alley-O." Though it's never mentioned in the liner notes or the tray card, some vinyl noise is occasionally apparent. Text. Ten-page booklet with film and actor info. 22 tracks. 53:19.
