Simply put this is a forgotten classic work of literature. Isaac Asimov spins wonderous tales of mystery an an everyday world. The characters puzzle over a conundrum in each story, each pitching their best guess of an explanation. The sting in the tail (and tale) is the every story concludes with Henry the waiter cracking the case like the proverbial egg. Part of the fun is seeing if you can work it out before Henry does. This book is the one that started it all, the first compendium of stories. It is followed by five sequels (which I am truly proud to say I have on my bookshelf).
