Skips discs, noisy and unreliable playback, had issues with this from day one, go for the 500 series from teac much, much better. and why do they have to keep changing the colours! its hard enough to find the silver ones to match your system then they go and make a range of gold coloured ones, not impressed with it at all, it is rubbish enough said, you have been warned! Teac have discontinued all spares for this range now so having them repaired will cost a fortune, The only teac seperate that i haven't had any problems with is the AG-H350 5.1 amplifier, it's brilliant, shame all the others weren't. Make no mistake the teac amps are as good as if not better than the dennons, very good build quality and performance, the teac 300 series dvd players use standard ide pc dvd rom drives if you buy one i highly recommend replacing the internal drive to a better one then you will have no problems, theyre easy to change its just a standard dvd rom drive with the shell stripped, why they bothered to take the shell off it though is beyond me, as it lets dust hit the lazer without it.Read full review
