I bought Dilly Court's The best of Sisters because a while ago I read her book Mermaids Singing and was so impressed that I have been reading as many of her books as I can find.I also like her style of writing and also the fact that she writes of life back in the mid 1800s which era I prefer to books of late 1900s.I like everything about this book and her others as they tell how life was in this era plus historical detailswhich also makes for a history lesson. There was nothing I disliked in this book and if anyone is looking for a different author to read I can definitely recomend all of Dilly Court's books and also books by other authors including Audrey Howard. The only modern author I really enjoy is Lee Child.
this is a very good read as usual dilly court excels herself
