This is a very early Terry Pratchett trilogy, but it doesn't show. I contains plenty of his wry humour and satirical looks at modern life through what is, ostensibly, a children's stiry about "the little people". The bromeliad referred to is a species of flower found in the Amazonian rain forests which, apparently, has almost nothing to do with the story, but which sometimes contain a species of tree frog whose only view of "the world" is the inside of one flower. Some real people are convinced that there narrow view of the world is the only possible one. Sir Terry spent much of his writing career attempting to braoden his readers' horizons.

Brilliant set of the three nome books in this trilogy. The copy is used but in great condition. I bought the set for my great nephew who has enjoyed another Terry Pratchett title.
