A real life mystery.
An unusual mystery. Considering the police inspector never leaves his hospital bed. It has ups and down as facts are collaborated and then discounted.. It is well done. I was disappointed to see in the edition i read that no source material is acknowledged by the author. While it is a work of fiction it is based on a real mystery.

Great detective story. First read it when I was 16 and it convinced me then that Richard III was not responsible for the death of his nephews. Read it again as an adult and can only admire the skill of the author.

Fascinating opinion put into a fictional story, Richard 111 may not have been the evil king as Tudor propoganda would have. History suggests he was the legitimate king of England, Edward 1V being a love child. If that is true, why would he wish to murder them.
