'The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin' was my favourite TV sit-com. Leonard Rossiter was superb, which made one wonder why they recently went for a remake. Most people seem to think the first series was the best, but I have always equally enjoyed the second, which is what we have here. I always found Reggie's enterprise in running a shop called 'Grot' with it's square hoops, rubber razor blades for nervous shavers, and silent LP's to be highly amusing. Things only began to flag at the third series, by which time it had all been done before to better effect. Fans will want all of what is here though, and those who have never seen any of these episodes will be in for a real treat!
Simply a classic 70s series starring the brilliant Rossiter. Anyone who likes irony will love Perrin, with the satirical look at the English buburbs in the 70s and how fascile buisness were (and still are) well worth a look. I will n ot part with this...
