from the original with Vincent Price, it's gone right over the top, with the wonderful Jeff Goldblum. It's very entertaining. The concept is ridiculous of course, although, having said that, the way technology is going, who knows. regards Jim Hay

Two great horror sci-fi movies, the first follows Seth Brundle (Jeff Goldblum) as he creates machines (telepods) which are capable of teleportation only to accidently teleport himself with a household fly which he becomes fused with and later turns into much to the horror of his love-interest Veronica (Geena Davis). The second in the series picks up with Brundle's son, Martin (Eric Stoltz), who, at 5 years old resembles that of a young adult due to his inherited genes, is born and taken in by a Bio-tech corporation who are, seemingly, taking care of him. In actuality they are waiting for his dormant genes to reach full maturity so his transformation will take place. Gory in a gloopy kind of way with lots of action and some sadness at times, well worth a look. Thanks for reading now go get it! :)Read full review
