I love this pie maker. Nice deep pies. Very easy to clean. I did overfill an apple pie which caused a bit of a mess but that was a lesson learnt. Still cleaned up easily. I have had a pie maker before which only made small pies (hubby would need two) but this one is brill. Highly recommended to pie lovers. I used ready made shortcrust on the base and puff pastry for the lid - score slightly and brush with milk (even with milk on the top it still doesn't stick). Trim the edges and hey ho dinner is ready

Bought this following a presentation on TV. Firstly, you need to load it COLD, otherwise the pastry begins to cook and collapse before you can get the filling in. (Even worse using shop bought puff pastry) Then it does take quite a while to warm up and cook the pies - then best of luck getting the cooked pies out in one piece! If you are cooking for a family of four you then need to wait for the Pie maker to cool down a bit before you can cook the next two! All in all, a complete waste of money.

Small and easy to use. Much deeper fill than expected. Warms up quickly and retains heat very well apart from the lid seems a bit colder. Overall simple to use, clean and store. Pastry cutter included makes life easier. Would recommend.

so easy to use ,found it better to put the pastry in before turning the machine on ,as when hot if you dont work quick the pastry tends to get soft and slides down ,but it is great for making meat and fruit pies its the one machine i use every week ,great buy ,great product, very happy.

Bit fiddly to use but may improve with more use, instructions not very clear . Says heat up before use but you are unable to put pastry in it whilst it is hot as the pastry just wilts in the cavity when put in it.
