The book is just a reprint of ancient magazine articles. Repetitive drawings, text and photos from each Campbell's attempt. No serious data anywhere. And hardly anything about other cars and pilots. Wasted money.

The Land Speed Record has always held a fascination for me, and this volume(part of a 5-book set) covers the golden era of record breaking with the three 'greats' featured - Sir Malcolm Campbell, George Eyston & John Cobb. All three were British and attracted much interest from both press & public alike. This book is full of reprinted articles from the time and captures the excitement of those times. Anyone interested in the subject will love the book, and there are lots of original photographs of both cars and drivers. Well worth the money!
