Obviously, the only reason you would watch this film is if you have sat through six hours of previous Lord of the Rings action, so its fair to say that only people who enjoyed the first two films, will endure another epically long film in the trilogy. As a LOTR film fan myself, this film does not disapoint. The camera work is superb, the music works perfectaly with the scenes, and the acting by all of the cast is seemingly faultless. My only gripe with this film is the ending; personally, it felt like the film was ending for the last 20-25 minutes, and this just gave the impression that the director (Peter Jackson) just didnt know when to end the film. After each ''end'', you go to take the dvd out of the player, and then another scene starts! Other than this, it is a fabulous film to end a great trilogy, and scores a high 4/5 stars, only being let down by the discordant ending, and the minor repetativeness of Smegle after two previous films.Read full review
