This book was not entirely what I was hoping for, but was still fascinating. It has a wealth of US lunar vehicle designs; as the author says, it is "subjective, based on things that sparked the author's interest". The only non-US design is the BIS lander of 1938; there are no designs from the USSR, China or anywhere else, and only the briefest mention of the Skylab in moon orbit (Moonlab) that I was originally looking for. However, it does what is stated in the introduction admirably and amazingly well: show the breadth of designs and ideas for the US lunar exploration program(s). Give it to a space nerd you know and watch him/her drool!
