This work is interesting, an interesting read, but a short one and missing a lot of content on the subject i would have said. what saves it is a very low price tag which keeps it in the good value bracket. Just do not expect settling down to a long read as you may finish it before the kettle boils. If you want the basics then at a couple pounds its worth it and i can recommend, if you want a deeper understanding then look else where.

A lovely no messing book that i found inspiring and easy to read. Good price. Not complicated. Useful. A ready reference and well written.

An ideal starte book but maybe no so good for the hardened no-dig gardener. This book starts with a general description of what it hopes to acheive and continues with everything a beginner needs to know. What is the perfect growing medium? Find the receipe here. When do you sow, plnt & harvest most fruit and veg. And also what is that beastie which is devouring your carrots, find it here. All in all an excellent book for the beginner
Very good book
