Indigo Summer makes a deal with her boyfriend Marcus: break up for the summer. That way they can both enjoy guilt free holidays, and see what happens when they return. Not that Indigo isn't worried - kissing him goodbye is hard enough, so how will she cope if he does kiss another girl?
