I bought this book wanting a sewing bible. It has lots of information and well-presented. Step-by-step photos are great, however, sometimes one wonders how it went from step x to step y. The descriptions were too vague. I have to look online or youtube for more advanced and detailed information. Notwithstanding the above, it is a good book to have for reference and remind you how to do things if you haven't done any sewing for a while.
One of the best sewing books I own. If you are already a bit of an expert you'll probably get something from the book, but it's really for beginners or intermediates. Have bought this book several times as a gift and it's always gone done well.
