This book is , in my opinion, one of the best children’s books ever written. When I was teaching I saw firsthand, the impact it had on the teenagers I was teaching.I know my grandchildren will be equally enthralled.

The book was in good order and delivered on time. However previous to reading The Silver Sword I had just read I am David which was brilliant so this book, although good, was not as compelling as I am David which I found incredible and in fact passed to my two grandchildren to read. I have passed on The Silver Sword to one of the grandchildren and will be interested to hear their views in due course,
