Anybody who enjoys "crooners" like Bing Crosby or Pat Boone will certainly like this C.D. Mike Holiday was obviously influenced by Bing, in fact the track "The folks who live on the hill" could be him! I particularly like Mike's version of Floyd Cramer's "Last Date" a beautiful lilting melody from the early 60s produced as an instrumental by pianist Cramer. To me it always cried out for words to express its emotional feeling. With Mike Holidays rich baritone voice and lyrics that match a "last date" situation I found this track very emotional and sung absolutely perfectly; what a great shame it was released after his tragic suicide.
