Thin Lizzy's last studio album is also one of their best, on pair with classics such as Jailbreak, Bad Reputation and Black Rose. Sykes' guitar playing is not to be overlooked - he could pull off anything other Lizzy players had done so far, aside of coming with great riffs and solos of his own -, Brian Downey remained a great drummer and Phil's songwriting skills have always proved themselves top notch. Even though Scott isn't on his best here - he still plays great, but not the same way he did on Black Rose - and Danny Wheaton is, somewhat, a not really interesting addiction to the band's overall sound, they don't compromise the result either. People may say whatever they want, but it stills sound like Lizzy - a heavier Lizzy, but still Lizzy.
The "last" Thin Lizzy for me contains two of the best songs in Cold Sweat and The Sun Goes Down,so worth the price just for those two. Shame Lynott and Sykes were not to collaborate more.
