Our drive was laid just 4 1/2 years ago and in that time the original tarmac has dulled to a grey colour, having used this product it has bought back the original finish. Before making this purchase I contacted the contactor who laid the drive and was informed that there is only one surface paint that he would recommend and that was the Thompson Quick Drying Drive Seal, his advice was spot on

Did the job great but you need to know how to use it the coverage on the tin is well overrated I have 9 year old tarmac which is still in good condition I got less than 2.2 metres per litre which is well below the 6 metres they claim but there’s is under controlled conditions etc.i asked an old friend who has been in the building game for years and he explained how to use it following his advice it worked a treat and I got over 4 metres per litre on old tarmac.

I have used this product 4 times over 20 years to seal my large tarmac drive. I am sure it's this treatment that has made it last so long, in such good condition. If you have tarmac use it. Do the edges with a brush and a roller for the middle, brilliant!!!
