The Thomson Wireless G Router features an integrated modem, which is ADSL 2+ enabled, ADSL2 enabled and ADSL enabled. The Thomson TG585V8 Wireless G Router facilitates data transfers at a rate of up to 54 Mb/ s. The TG585V8 possesses a firewall which is integrated with Hyper-NAT and minimises unwanted service impact. This feature facilitates the inspection of packets and also logs local caches and remote servers for the possibility of security breaches. In addition, the security features of the Thomson Wireless G Router include high network security, Wired Equivalent Privacy encryption, Wi-Fi protected access, and a registration button for users. The Wireless G feature of the Thomson TG585V8 Wireless G Router makes it ideal for modest contexts and allows surfing and emailing on Broadband connections lower than 8 Mb/s.

Great router for Plusnet customers, average router for everyone else.
Bought this router to work with my Plusnet connection. Simple, 'works out of the box' router,. Is somewhat limited in its settings, but that can be a good thing. Setup interface is basic and unsophisticated, but does the job. Wireless range is average, but N band is a big plus for a router this cheap. Would recommend for Plusnet customers.
