I wonder if all adult women in their 40's go through this? I found myself thinking about books I had read as a child. Learning to read came early and easily and I remember the first book by Faith Jacques Tilly's House being a delightful story of a small wooden doll with help from her friend Teddy to leave the dolls house she worked in as a maid to find her own little place to live. This book is also beautifully illustrated by the author too. Imagine my joy when I discovered as an adult there was a second story Tilly's Rescue, again an enchanting story of how Tilly goes to find her friend Teddy and bring him home after he got lost at the grocery shop in time for Christmas. Again delightful illustrations. Although these books are aimed at young children and the story is quite simply told, the detail in the drawings are wonderful and it has a nice message of helping friends. I think children and adults can enjoy these stories and for me it was a nice escape back to my childhood for a few moments. It's funny how when you're a child all you want to do is grow up, finally in the adult world you realize the best times were your early days !!!!Read full review
