Epic film telling the true story of the "unsinkable" ship Titanic that hits an iceberg and sinks with huge lose of life due to the lack of lifeboats. Story is brought to life via a fictitious love story as Rose finds herself falling in love with Jack Dawson. The action switches between the salvage ship trying to find a valuable necklace and 1911 aboard the ship. Fantastic special effects make this film but the story is in places a little corny. what a beautiful film funny lovely and then very sad all in one film loved
I Brought this as my granddaughter had never seen the film but with the 100th anniversary and lots of different programs all about the Titanic she became very interested in the whole thing then at school they were all given the name of a passenger and had to research if they survived or went down with the ship.My granddaughter will be 14 this year and she so loved watching the film along with my grandson 13 they thought it was very sad but lovely and shed a few tears at the end.
