I used this product to seal a 8mm hole in a chainsaw oil tank caused by corrosion to the alloy.. I found the product very easy to mix and to work with. The product being a putty made it very easy to make this sort of repair, had I been using a metal epoxy type glue it would have taken several applications and it would have been running about the place. The paste could be easily shaped and did start to set after 10 minutes. I have managed to make a very good repair to my chainsaw and can use it again. I was given a tip for using this product, you can make this epoxy putty even stronger by adding some iron filings in the putty when you mix it up.

I have been using this repair putty filler for years and there is nothing that comes near to it. It sets rock hard in about 5 -10 minutes. I have used it: - As body filler on a car - Repaired saucepan handles that stand up to stove top use, and dishwasher. - Repaired dishwasher basket wheels - And the most amazing was joined a broken bar on a linkage inside a piano. Two pieces of 6 mm metal rod at right angles to each other - the weld had broken and it would have meant pulling the piano apart to fix it. I was back playing in 15 minutes using this putty around the joint. I always keep a tube on hand.
