Product was supplied with no user instructions whatsoever. Even with downloading manual from internet set up was not as straightforward as intimated. Had to get brother to set up! Actual system does semm very consumer friendly - suggest you have practise runs when you know where you are going before using properly!

I found the sat nav itself user friendly and easy to navigate ( excuse the pun). It seems as so often is the case an excellent piece of kit is let down by the lack of attention to detail of the final product package. I found it extremely difficult to fit to the unit to the windscreen as the distance between the sat nav and the suction pad that sticks to the windscreen needs to be at least an inch longer, so the user can get their fingers behind the unit as to attach it to the windscreen In short a brave effort but must try harder 6 out of 10. It was second of my totom products to buy and use. i bought it to have a larger and wider screen and more thinner built. mounting is impressive. It is however advisable to insert the charger beforehand as after mounting it is difficult to do it. movement around ball joint is a good feature. maps are excellently displayed. advance warning is a useful feature. Voice feature unfortunately is of a poor quality and is accompnied with a noise like a mistuned radio. battery also is not as good as previous versions. a good feature is auto recognition of day and night time. in general some good features but with poor quality sound and battery.
Found the Tom Tom to be much more user friendly than the other well known brand of day nav. Also clearer on instructions when to take turns with street map names more clearly shown. Speed cam service not as good as the other brand. But everything else is
