I found the Tomtom Rider was really well made. The mount is good, the interface, while not always intuitive, was quite easy to use, and the maps clear and informative. However, my biggest bug-bear is the Bluetooth interface. It connects easily to the helmet and my mobile phone and uses the mobile phone data connection for real time updates. BUT, the voice guidance sent to the helmet is seriously flawed in that every instruction starts at very low volume (which means you miss the first part of the instruction), and when the volume increase the audio is distorted and difficult to understand. This happens with each and every instruction. A search of the Tomtom forums reveals this is a problem that has been known about for over 3 years, but Tomtom has never fixed it. Also, you can't store or stream music from it. Not really worth the high price-tag. I've switch to the Garmin unit. In summary....A nice piece of kit if you don't want to stream music, and don't need bluetooth instructions to the helmet. In my opinion, not worth the money at all.Read full review

Very easy to download files from the Tyre map program. Good clear direction and I like the zoom in at junction when you have to turn. I have also purchased a little sun visor as if the sun shines on the screen it becomes a little difficult to see.
