Title says it all....These guys destroy sectors of the hard drive erasing data and what you get is a mess that has bad sectors. Not worth my time and effort to send it back....my time is more valuable than that...so I'm stuck.

These are super quiet. I'm using them as USB auxillary HDTV recording devices. My equipment sees them instantly. They seem compatible with everything. Very low current consumption means I don't need any external power. They get all they need from a single usb connection to the enclosure.
