Trevor Simpson Billet Reed engine
The auction includes:
TS G260RC Head Kit and Billet Reed induction crank cases.
100% billet reed valve inducted G230RC style crankcase from legendary 2-stroke engine builder Trevor Simpson (where not worthy). The Kit includes billet case with bearings, seals, and gaskets, billet reed valve with 2 carbon fiber petals, mounting hardware, and engraved block-off plate to cover the old cylinder intake (carburetor now mounts to reed valve on the crankcase). The interior case volume has been reduced compared to regular G230RC cases to increase performance. Gives much more power from low RPM's all the way up to full speed.
For proper use the cylinder used with this case must have the intake port closed and must be ported so the cylinder transfer ports match the crankcase.
Compatible with all 2-bolt style RC top ends - fits Zenoah G23LH / G230RC / G260RC engines. Also fits Chung Yang CY23RC / CY26RC / CY27RC / CY29RC / GP290 engines. Note: these cases have been specially designed to allow for proper clearances when used on Gopeds. This item should be compatible with most large scale vehicles including FG onroad and offroads, Carson, Traxxas, DuraTrax, XTM, etc. modifications may be needed to make this item work in your application.
Custom 34mm big-bore head kit from legendary 2-stroke engine tuner Trevor Simpson. Displacement of 25.4cc when used with stock 28mm crankshaft. Kit includes:
Machined 34mm cylinder, billet head with engraved signature and cooling fins, 13:1 compression dome, piston, piston ring, piston pin, circlips, cylinder gasket, NGK CMR7H spark plug, mounting hardware, and instructions. Increases the power and speed of your engine SUBSTANTIALLY! Fits Zenoah G23LH / G230RC / G260RC engines. Also fits Chung Yang CY23RC / CY26RC engines. Requires 91 octane (using the R+M/2 octane rating method) or higher fuel. Note: if installing this product onto a Chung Yang engine (CY23RC, CY26RC, etc), you will need to use a Zenoah pin bearing and Zenoah pin washers
I have only used this for about 6 to 8 hours maximum on my Goped. It was Broken-in correctly and has alway run best quality oil and fuel. It is in excelent condition with only a few marks on it, the worst of which is a scuff on the head. (I will photo these shortly) Although it was used on a goped it was well protected by an engine nerf bar so it didnt take any serious knocks. The Cylinder inlet has been filled with JB weld and the cylinder skirt has been cut (needed to run properly with crank induction). The crank is the stock crank from a Zenoah G260RC. The compression dome is the standard 13:1 and set up for the standard length crank, it will take a +1 stroker crank but would need to be skimmed for a +2 stroker (for sale in seperate auction). I also have a 19.1 alcohol dome that I have never used I will throw it in. The Carb is a Walbro wa167 which is better suited to harder acceleration than the more common wt608/wt668 (better top end). I was using it with a lightened billet flywheel (listed in a seperate auction, see my other listings) so there is no flywheel included, unless I can find a stock one to throw in, I will have a look but assume there isnt one for the purpose of bidding. The air filter is a bit mashed but will still work so I will throw it in. I used ths with a trevor Simpson billet fan case with adjustable timing (also for sale is seperate auction) so there is no fan case included.
I have Detailed it as well as I can but feel free to ask my anything I have missed.
Cost me a bomb (well over $800 not including the carb, and crank) so grab a bargain.
Will combine postage for multiple items, just ask.
