Apologies for the title pun but these were my partners words when she looked up from watching Wimbledon on the tv as I announced that I had just spent approx £15 on what essentially is a metal toilet pipe! Opinions soon changed though once it was fitted and in place. The pipe itself is of a very high standard. It's of a rigid brass construction and plated in a thick, highly polished chrome finish with a separate push up cover to hide those unsightly washers from being on show underneath the cistern. This is then held in place by a simple push up rubber band. The pipe is supplied with adequate length at each end to allow for position of the cistern and pan, giving enough fixing length as to reduce any chance of leaks. I personally had to reduce it at both ends but a simple junior hacksaw was all that was required. Overall an excellent choice for a finishing touch to your bathroom, especially if you've used other chrome fittings within your design. Even the partner appreciates it's look now. Game, set & match to this pipe. Highly recommended.Read full review

This flush pipe is not fitted as of yet. It appears to be a decent quality well made item which I’m sure will look good fitted, compared to a plastic flush pipe. I do think they are perhaps a bit expensive for what they are, however I’m hoping the fitted quality and appearance look, exceeds the cost aspect observation. John Lawless
