When I purchased this meter I never read the description fully and studied the size. In the electronics industry we have become accustomed that all serious hand multimeters come in an Industry Standard size. This standard was set many years ago by Fluke Meters. Most Asian meters I have bought or used in the past conform to this size. This meter in question is a centimetre or so smaller all round and that in itself does not radiate the confidence that one should have in the product. No doubt it will prove to be a good meter over a period of time but its petite size makes one feel that they are using a toy. if the manufacturer had stuck to the adopted industry standard then the smaller size would not be an issue and purchases by long established techies may be even increased. Because it looks like a toy, bona fida techies may stay away from this meter and it's not my first choice of DMM to use in the workshop. It will probably stay on the shelf until I have the need it to measure a capacitors value or measure a frequency. One pro that the meter has is that it is like my main DMM - AutorangingRead full review

I like this unit but it needs some improvement to be perfect. For example "Select" button does not work the same way for each option. Next, according to my experience, Continuity test is more frequently needed than Diode test which is for some reason placed first. Non slippery pads would also be good. Anyway, this is quite useful device.
