My Toshiba Satellite laptop's keyboard became intermittent and thus the PC became unusable. This adaptor allows me to use the laptop again, also using either or both of the touchpad or external mouse at will. It will also work if installing an operating system from a live CD, as I did to install Linux on Toshiba

I have an old PS/2 rackmount screen & KVM that I was hoping to use with more modern USB based servers. I already have one Belkin twin PS/2 to USB adapter which works great and allows the KVM's built-in trackpad and keyboard to be used with an old HP Proliant - this works fine and it was just a case of plugging and playing. The Dynamode one only seems to get the mouse/trackpad side working while the keyboard remains unresponsive. I have consigned these to the parts pile and have found a supplier for the more expensive but functional and reliable Belkin unit. You get what you pay for, I guess!

Yes, it actually works for a keyboard. Brillient, as I can now continue to use my 20 year old clicky mechanical keyboard that I love the feel of. Many thanks.

I was worried it might be passive adaptor and wrongly advertised but it really is active and works as described. My old mechanical keyboard works on my new computer with Windows 10. Highly recommended.

I bought this £40 XP computer to replace an old dud one, so as to continue to rum Money and other programs offline. “Oh No the mouse and keyboard would not fit “ This was Tuesday. On the off chance I googled for possible adaptors. Yes! It arrived on Friday and the computer is a dream buy now.
