Placing Your Order

Acceptance of the order does not take place until goods are despatched. The prices shown are only applicable to purchases made via the Supernovas Website. All prices quoted for products are in £GBP and do not include delivery charges. Prices by any other form of purchase may be higher or lower than shown. Delivery of Goods
We can deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom although for deliveries to non-mainland UK addresses and certain remote locations e.g. Scottish Isles, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, Channel Islands there may be an additional delivery charge and slightly longer delivery times. This charge will be shown clearly during the checkout process.
Place of Delivery
Goods can be delivered either to your home address, to an alternative address or to your work.
Method of Delivery
Your order will be delivered by Royal Mail, Royal Mail Recorded Delivery or by Courier. A signature is required for all Royal Mail Recorded Delivery and Courier deliveries.
Checking Your Delivery
Where goods are found to be damaged upon delivery this damage should be reported to us as soon as possible. Please retain the goods in / with their original packaging and please do not use the goods once damage has been identified.
Delivery Charges
Post and packaging is charged in addition to the prices shown for products. We make every effort to keep our delivery charges as low as possible. The delivery charge depends on the size/weight of the product ordered. When you add products to your shopping cart the appropriate charge will be added when your order is processed.
All delivery charges will be shown clearly on your invoice. Small items are sent 1st class recorded delivery, costs vary from £1.50 - £2.95 depending on size & weight. .Larger items are sent on a courier service, prices between £8.95 - £25.00 depending on size & weight.
Delivery Times
Delivery times are calculated in working days - i.e. Monday to Friday inclusive (working days do not include weekends or National Bank Holidays). In case of Bank Holidays please allow an extra 2 working days.From the receipt of your order we will endeavour to deliver your chosen items to you within 30 working days providing the goods are in stock, unless a longer delivery time is specified to you. Deliveries to non-Mainland or remote locations may take longer.
Risk in the goods will pass to you on delivery
All deliveries must be signed for. If you are out when the courier arrives the Courier will leave a card with the contact number for you to call to arrange a suitable time for redelivery or for you to collect the goods from the local depot.
Unexpected Delivery Delay
We do everything we can to meet the delivery time specified in this section, however occasionally delivery times may be affected by factors beyond our control and cannot be guaranteed. We will inform you if we become aware of an unexpected delay.
Stock Unavailability
If any product you order is not in stock when your order is placed, it will automatically be placed on back order and you will be advised of the delivery date once the product is in stock.
If you do not wish an order to be placed on back order, you must contact us to inform us.
Cancellation
In accordance with The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 you have a right of cancellation within seven days (7) days.
You have the statutory right to return any products you have purchased within seven (7) working days from the date the order was accepted for any reason (including if you simply change your mind). To do so you must notify us in writing or other durable medium (including email) within those seven (7) working days. You will then be entitled to a refund from us, which will be paid within thirty (30) days of your notice of cancellation. Please keep the products purchased in a saleable condition and retain the original packaging in the condition it was provided. Goods are returned at customers cost.
Unwanted Goods
If you decide that you do not want any item (that is not faulty or outside of the 7 day cancellation period), which we have delivered then provided you have contacted us within 14 days and have obtained a Returns Reference from us, you may return the unwanted product if it is still in its original and unused condition (including in its original packaging), along with the wrapping and delivery note (as proof of purchase) within 28 days of delivery, we will refund the price paid minus a handling charge of 25% of the price paid and the cost of delivery.
Faulty Goods
Proof of purchase must accompany the returned faulty product. If any item returned as faulty is subsequently found not to be, the item will be returned to the customer at their cost. we also reserve the right to charge any reasonable costs we have incurred in investigating the alleged fault. We will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, damages, costs or expenses.
Subject to your statutory rights, products made or altered specifically for you, may not be returned nor will we provide any refund, unless they are defective or have been accidentally damaged by us in the course of delivery.
Our Liability
If we deliver incorrect or damaged goods, or in the event that you discover any defect in the goods for which you require compensation or other remedy, you must report the defect as soon as possible by contacting us by email or telephone.
We will not be liable for any direct or indirect loss of profits or other financial loss or damage arising out of defective, damaged or wrongly delivered products over and above the value of the goods themselves. This does not affect your statutory rights.
If we accidentally damage goods in the course of delivery our liability for that damage is limited to the repair or replacement of the goods or the value thereof. Time of delivery is not of the essence in these terms and conditions. We will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through any reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery or re-scheduling of delivery.
We will not be liable for any damage or loss resulting from repairs attempted by you or third parties or any damage caused by inappropriate fitting or misuse of products.
