Bought 2 for my girls aged 9 and 4, as I thought they would be able to do more with them than the ones specifically made for children and also cheaper. Ideal size for little hands. Very easy to set up and work and the touch pad is responsive unless little sticky fingers are trying to work it. The speed is a little bit slow but its what I would expect for what I paid for. Comes with a good number of apps, including one for Kindle Store but, upto now, have been able to download books but been unable to read anything (I am still looking at compatibility issues). The battery lasts for about 3 hours but that hasn't been an issue as the children are never on for that amount of time in one go. Would absolutally recommend getting a protective case if children are going to use it as one of the Versus Touchpads I bought has already had to have a LCD screen replaced after it was stood on. So long as you don't expect an iPad you'll be fine. I bought this for my 9 year old daughter who wanted an iPad! It's nothing like an iPad but I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised just how good it was for the money! I did have trouble with the charger not working, but once i realised it could be charged via USB, it's been fine! My daughter loves it! She plays her games, like Minecraft, Angry Birds etc and she's over the moon. I'm not sure I would pay the original asking price, but I got mine as a seconds and at just under £50 it is just perfect. Very happy!
The Versus has proved good value for money and does what was expected of it. It was bought as a gift and the recipient who had not used a tablet before is more than happy with it.
This is a good tablet but not the best its slow and can be really annoying so i would recommend buying a different tablet.
