I've got a good guitar setup at home that gives me a set of very nice tones (Marshall JMP-1 into effects loop return of Laney VC15 = sweet), but I recently started playing in rehearsal rooms and couldn't drag those with me every time. I needed 1) quick footswitch access to a couple of good clean and heavier (metal) tones, 2) a tuner that mutes the guitar signal, and 3) quick access to a few effects like reverb and delay. It does all those things very well, and throws in a whole extra set of pedal effects. It pays off to sit down with the unit and program it before heading off into a rehearsal room. It doesn't take long to get the hang of it though, but clearly the best way to work it is to quickly set up some of your own tones + effects in the user defined area so you have quick access to them. Unit feels solid, and haven't seen it at a better price than here.Read full review

With 100 presets and 20 user defined effects this pedal is fun. Compact size, battery or mains, headphone socket makes it a handy item for the stringed instrument player. You don’t always get the same volume level on the presets. For the price I would recommend it.

I have tried several amp simulation pedals whilst trying to find something remotely similar to an AC15/30 to plug direct into a PA. This is the first pedal I have found that comes close. I can't comment on the dirtier sounding amps settings as I don't use them, maybe because it is made by Vox, but the AC15 sim is just the job for what I need.

Well built with some excellent settings. Samples are good.

Lots of sounds. Good for learning about effects, but none of them sound natural.
