This album is very different from the rest of VH's albums. I think it's one of their best, if not THE best VH album. It's dark, gritty, angry, not pop-like at all. Not the party tunes you've come to expect from the DLR years. Some say VH wasn't really a metal band. I'll accept that about almost all of their other albums, but not this one. If you don't like VH and prefer your 80s a bit more dark and heavy, give this one a listen. It will surprise you.
