Vauxhall Astra GSI Rally Car track car rallycross

I bought the vehicle as a track car around 10 years ago and have competed most of the work to convert to a stage rally car.

This shell has been dry stored for the last 10 years, and has no rot.

As the car has not been used as a rally car, it doesn’t show the signs of gravel rash on damaged floor pans.


The car is running and driving, and I do not see any reason why it wouldnt pass an Mot.

NEW Harry Hockley gravel sump guard

NEW Goodridge  braided brake lines

NEW Fiberglass tank guard

OMP 10 point roll cage with door bars

NEW Lexan front door windows

The car has been seam welded with two new sills fitted. This has been completed professionally with all the old metal removed and new sills fitted.

SBD motorsport high torque exhaust manifold cost £450

Jetex stainless steel exhaust system

Alloy M-Tec power cap – replaces SFI airbox

New cambelt and idlers

Bilstein thick tube front damper inserts.

Bilstein rear dampers with SPAX springs

Black diamond drilled and grooved front discs, Ferrodo pads

Rear has been converted to drums for better handbrake on gravel.

New front TCA’s, anti roll bar links and bottom all joints

All the hard work has been competed, but requires small amount of work to finish and would make a competitive rally car.

The car is currently on Sorn and comes with V5 logbook and an extensive file of receipts.

 

This car has V5 log book but has never been MSA log booked for rallying.

 

No MOT or Tax
