My first embroidery machine after 40 years of sewing. I love it. I just bought a 170D to go with it, and it comes with pe basics and 4 more hoops. this is just the start but a good one for so little money. nice and simple

This is a wonderful model and ideal for learning on. However this model must be now over thirty years old with tiny designs so you will need a collection of embroidery cards to supplement the designs. It has old technology so no USB port. It embroiders very well unless you are doing a very dense design such as one on the Mother goose card. I did these on mine when I had one and discovered I needed a needle change half way through the design which can be awkward. To learn on it can be useful but a lower price for this model is a must as you will grow out of. I have now got a Disney 5 X 7 embroidery area and some of these larger models are quite reasonable on ebay.
I am in love! This is my first embroidery machine and I am so excited! This machine is EASY to thread and EASY to use! I have also purchased the PED software since there are only 3 fonts pre-loaded. I have heard of people who have used this machine for years and still don't want to part with it. Highly recommend.
This machine is awesome. the only thing I don't like is the self threader. It is easy to operate and has alot of features. It is priced right for a beginner or an expert.
