They work well, I have used them for years with no problems. Fit is excellent, thickness is just right, this material will give you the airtight seal that is needed to restore the sound these reproducers had 80 years ago. I have probably used 50-60 sets of them by now, you must take care that your diaphragm isn't touching the metal body of the reproducer when you set it in, you may have to adjust the needlebar by gently bending it to either side to achieve this. This is a common part of aligning them anyway, something you almost always have to do since over the years reproducers get dropped and needlebars bent.

I have a Decca wind up phonograph, maybe from the 1940's and the gasket almost fit. So I cut out about an eighth of an inch and put it all back together. It sounds much better, smoother, deeper tones.
