My favourite of all the Roger Corman Poe adaptions. First viewed it in the 1960`s years later found myself living near where it was filmed, Castle Acre. Vincent Price is superb, a master of his art. I never tire of watching it.

I bought the Tomb of Ligeia to add to my my collection of Vincent Price films. i liked the film because it keeps you in suspense right the way through.
When I first saw this picture as a kid, I thought it was quite scarey, but not having seen it for donkeys years, I found it very disappointing. It carries a "12" certificate now, and I believe it was an "X" first time round, so it proves how things have changed. All it doess for me now is remind me of the Regal cinema in Uxbridge, where we first went to see it. The memories are very good, as they were happy times when we all lived with our parents and didn't have a worry in the world
