Machine works well. Cut chopped pork and chicken wafer thin easily. I would have given 5 stars but i thought the blade speed could be a little faster but otherwise great machine and great value.

I have worked as a delicatessen manager and have used many meat slicers. Good Points: It is cheap. It is compact. The blades are easily removed. It is easy to clean. Bad Points: The blades I received are very blunt. The gap between the blade and adjuster is wider at one end. The adjuster is the wrong way round with the numbers upside down. The suction legs are not effective and the slicer move as you use it The motor is very noisy. The motor runs too slowly, and slows down when you are slicing. I bought it for slicing parma ham and it does not achieve paper thin slices, or even complete slice. I am getting half slices. For cutting thicker slices of roast meat, the result may be better. I have sharpened the plain blade. It is slicing better. I have never come across serrated (blunt) blades in slicing machines until now, and am puzzled. Conclusion: Don’t Buy – pay more for better. Best if you can see and test first. Professional meat slicers are unfortunately very large, which was why I opted for a more compact one. Is there a decent compact domestic slicer out there?Read full review
