    It is 12 degrees off, but I'll take it, much better than a frozen interior. I just set the Dometic CFX50W at 48 degrees and it cools to 36 degrees inside. Fairly easy to install too.

    Better than factory

    My Dometic CF35 was reporting a temperature of 116 degrees. It was 70 degrees ambient...I figured something was wrong. The control panel was working and accepting inputs, and the compressor was working fine before, and was obviously not running. I loaded the parts cannon on a chance that a sensor was bad since you can not get a service manual for this unit. Sure enough it was this thermistor. The New thermistor was a smidge larger in diameter, I needed to open the hole up about 1/16 of an inch so it would fit. The new thermistor appears to be of higher quality, I don't see any way moisture could get into it. Water dripped out when I removed a glob of silicone -- its a safe bet water infiltrated theond one... Installation was about 2 hours total -- you do NOT need to remove ...

    Thermistor was perfect and saved me $1200

    Thermistor on my 3 year old Dometic CF80 went out. Cooler was freezing everything. Contacted Dometic and was told “we have no spare parts. You’ll need to purchase a new unit.” Jumped on eBay and found this. No instructions as this is a part for “technicians”. My dad and I replaced it in 15 mins. Cooler works great and I have a spare.
