An excellent start to the Arthurian trilogy by M. K. Hume. The story tells of how Arthur established himself as the premier warrior of Celtic Britain. It sticks as closely as possible to the original Celtic myth and ignores later Mediaeval additions , like the Round Table and Lancelot. A wonderful book and a suitable beginning to the Arthur trilogy.
