I bought this seat to take my 18 month old son on bike rides with me. The seat came with instructions and well packaged. I can't say that the instructions are the best of I'm honest. The diagrams aren't that clear and the written instructions seem a little confusing, however there are a lot of YouTube videos out there that are precise and to the point. I struggled to get the seat to fit on my Boardman Hybrid bike and pretty much gave up, however after contacting the seller they were able to talk me through it and perseverance paid off. The problem I had was getting the front clamp to fit onto the head tube without rubbing on the steering tube and making the handlebars difficult to turn which when you have a child strapped on to the bike is a worry but if you angle it correctly and get another pair of hands to help you it fits - just. I understand that my bike is probably one of the more difficult and tight fits, so for me to get it on there and working is testament to the product. Very disappointed that the description of the product in the listing stated that it would fit any bike. This is not the case. It will only fit a bike which has around an inch of head tube visible above the top tube so the front clamp may be attached to it. Neither my or my wife's bikes have this and after checking, virtually none of my friends' bike have it either. Check before buying! You and your child are likely to be extremely upset on their birthday if you don't!

The product quality is excellent and we found it easy enough to assemble and connect on to the bike. Hubby and daughter loved the way you could ride and talk to each other at the same time, making rides far more interactive and enjoyable. The head rest was a good idea, allowing her to fall asleep which she did on more than once occasion! All in all, a fab product

Reviews and description sound really good so very exciting to get out there and use it. Built it up on my Trek 6500, thought as I pulled it out that the quality is poor but I'll give it a go, built it on the frame to still find it was poor quality, still exciting to try it out; I dressed my daughter in ready for the cold but couldn't bare putter her in it. It's a really shame as the idea is brilliant.
