As a highest form of upgrade for an old board it works at pretty high standard. This CPU is a mother of both 64bit and multi-core architectures and as such has it's pros as well as its cons. Being a cheap item purchased from eBay it does its job very well!
This chip is an exelent replacement for amd 64 bit athlon processor after I installed it I reinstalled my oparating system ( Windows 7 home premium oem } and all the problems i had with windows media player 12 went away. When I ordered this chip I ordered it from china and they sent me two so I installed The second one on my other system ( xp professional) and it worked a treat now i can listen to my music and surf the web confident things wont go wrong...
Very fast processor - comparing to the previous AMD Athlon 64 (without dual core). My computer got more time to be usefull!
