Great quality printing on a very wide range of media, laser, ink jet, glossy, matt, you name it, it seems happy to print on it! Noisier than a laser, but not a real problem. Takes a while to warm up from cold, so best left permanently on, which makes it somewhat thirsty on electricity for home use. The machine uses less power than a laser when printing, but more (45 watts quoted) in sleep mode, from which it takes a few minutes to awake. And if you insist on a hard power down the device uses up a considerable amount of the ink sticks whilst warming up, in much the same way an ink jet can use lots of ink when head cleaning! That aside I'm very happy with it. Installation was straight forward, I just replaced my old laser machine with this, and manually inputted the same IP address and away it went. It can also be connected via USB. Ink is still pricey, but storage of spares is hardly an issue, as they take up a fraction of the space of toner cartridges, and can be loaded into the machine if wanted- it can take at least 3 in each of the 4 slots (I haven't bought enough to try more!). Disposal of waste is via a household bin, no more wondering when and where to dispose of that old toner cartridge.Read full review
the printer is very good quality and well manufacturing. the printing quality is nice and not seen different from laser printer. however the ink cubes are expensive and even expensive more than the printer itself. otherwise, it is perfect.
