This item exudes a feeling of quality in all respects (which of course it should for the price). Am using it in an unusual way, to serve as a second manual for/on a one manual Roland C-230 classical home (electronic) “pipe organ” but I have found two of the electronic five vintage organ sounds on this item entirely fine for solo work on the right hand while my left accompanies on the Roland. Can’t speak to how useful the thing is for rock/pop musicians but it sure appears to me that Yamaha has thought the design through very well to offer choices of vintage electronic sounds for maximum choices. And the controls are a delight: actual buttons, switches and sliders each with a defined function instead of squishy controls with multiple features using numbers requiring an index to decipher. Absolutely recommend for its stated purposes!Read full review

The sound , effects, tweakability and build quality are excellent and exceed many products costing several times more. The mini keys are great. Produces a wide variety of organ tones, in addition you could create some drum, baseline and synth sounds using the additive synthesise of the drawbars and the different organ sounds and percussive effects, each one has its own character and responds to the distortion differently. A great product.

Through it’s little speakers, this keyboard sounds like a toy, but through a sound system, it is a fantastic pro-sounding instrument. With batteries, it’s a great portable songwriting tool, and then you can use it at gigs with confidence in its sound. I love it!

What's not to like? If you are looking for "Hammondy" sound with a large amount of flexibility and "tweakage" this is a great keyboard to get. Lots of surprised looks and questions from listeners when it's played live. I am running it thru a faux Leslie box to fatten it up (best one I've found...the ancient Multivox 'Full-Rotor). Just wish the keys were regular size, but easy enough to midi it to keyboard with adult keys.

Pros: Excellent Vox, Hammand, Farfisa tonality and responsive drawbars. Very good Leslie simulation. Cons: Keys are tiny
