The remanufactured Roomba 860 works great. Had a problem when I received product. There was no battery door attached. Got a response right away from shipper and had a new door sent to me in 2 days. Comes with brand new lithium battery. Long lasting life between charges. Vacuums just as good as my Dyson animal. Reseats itself back into charger when finished or when dust bin is full. You will need to empty bin before each use since the bin is not that big. Overall I am very pleased with the unit

This little thing blows away my electrolux. It loves chair legs, and under furniture, with my other vacuum i had to remove the attachment from the hose and do around chair legs myself. This is amazing. although i have a genuine cow hide rug i am a little in fear of it removing all the hair, this vacuum is beyond great. it has no pattern i can see. i found myself bossing it around and i had to leave the room, to let it do it's job and when i came back it missed nothing. i think this is the best invention ever. my husband wanted me to hire a housekeeper and i bought this instead. will pay for itself in a month and a half. it vacuums the house while i dust or do something else. I swear it has eyes. great job on carpet to hard wood floors and i have thresholds it does go over. in my old home. It goes from carpet to wood floors no problem, if it can't navigate the first time it goes backwards like it is taking a running jump. does not take No for an answer !! It is going over. and actually gets more than hand vac myself. Amazing true 5 stars. Buy this thing. buy it buy it !! Read full review

Takes some effort to get out hair dust balls from compartment. Does a good job cleaning and with larger battery ($20) it will run for about 1.5 hours. Once in awhile it gets stuck and needs help. Running an hour a day our 400 square foot hardwood and tile floor is clean. No wifi on this model but not sure how important that is. Bought ~2 years of replacement brushes, rollers and filters for $30. My unit was used and cost $125. So for $175 I'm set (this unit would cost about $400 new)

I received the Roomba 860 as a Christmas gift in 2016. I love it. My husband was very dubious that anything so small and costing so much really wasn't much of a bargain...since it was for my Christmas, I quickly reminded him that diamond earrings are small, cost a lot but are worth the heavens to the recipient. He shut his mouth but was still dubious. I used it today and didn't put any limitations on it's random movement or area covered. I was surprised when it approached my coffee table that it lightly bumped a leg, backed up and then went entirely around the leg....and this was repeated every time it encountered an obstacle. I have two pawsomes inside the home so there is cat hair. I had pre-vacuumed with a reliable portable vacuum day before yesterday. The Roomba did go across various floor levels and onto rugs and carpet without any problems. The collection tray was full, upon completion of the job. The only difficulty I encountered was getting the refuse tray open. Wish the instructions were a little more explicit, but I did get it open after trying and trying...that is the only CON I have about the Roomba. Again, I love it and would buy it again.Read full review

Like many I was a bit skeptical at first. But I was also excited to get it and see how it performs. I did my research and decided to get it. It operates just as all the reviews said it would. No surprises. It does suck a lot of dust and dirt out of the carpet. The first use amazed me as to how much it actually picked up. The adds say it is intended for in between normal vacuuming. I have it programmed for every day use and it gets more dust and dirt every day. I’m thinking of getting rid of the carpet. It performs great and I’m super happy with the decision i made. The 860 is the way to go unless you don’t mind shelling out $899 for the 980. That will most likely be my next purchase. Don’t waste money on the 6 series.
